Trade Arts built a Promhouse trade-show structure in the Netherlands from 750,000 clear SACD cases, with sound-reactive, computer-controlled lighting for the Philips/Sony Super Audio CD format.
Exhibition design for Promhouse trade-show exhibitions in the Netherlands. This display was built from 750,000 clear SACD cases, conceptually based on the emotion of music, sound and light.
Concept
The structure featured superior acoustic isolation to showcase the extended frequency response of the Super Audio CD format (Philips / Sony), in conjunction with computer-controlled lighting throughout the space reacting to sound and movement.
Detail
Lighting was also used to change the colour temperature of the space — creating calm settings for meetings held in the upper bar level.
